Finals are marked (posted Apr 25). I have marked the final
exams, and your course grades have been submitted and should be
available via Dal Online. Thanks everyone for a great class! I'm happy
to report that the average on the final exam was higher than both
midterms, and came in around 72 percent. Good work! In the course
grades, we ended up with 57 A's (including plus or minus), 31 B's, 11
C's, 10 D's, and regrettably 20 F's. I will be away until May 7, and
I'll arrange an office hour after that, upon request, for those who
want to see their final exam. Since we're not on BBL, I can also send
a breakdown of your grade by email upon request. Have a great summer!
Office hour moved. My office hour on Monday, April 14 will be moved to 2:30-3:30, instead of 1-2. Practice Final Exam posted. I have posted the final exam from Fall 2011 as a practice final. Please see "Handouts" below. Unfortunately I don't have written answers for the practice final, but I'd be happy to answer your questions about answers that you are not sure about. Midterm Answers posted. I have posted the answers to the two midterms. Please see "Handouts" below. Math Resource Centre. Don't forget that the student resource centre (also known as the "learning centre") on the first floor of the math building serves this course. Tutors are available Mon-Fri from 9-5, on a first come, first served basis, free of charge. Evening hours are in the Learning Commons, Killam Library, Room G40G, Mon-Thurs 7-10.
Final Exam Date. According to the website of the Registrar's
