A circle is shape with many special features.

A circle has an infinite number of axes of symmetry. This means that there are infinetly many lines that divide the circle into two symmetrical pieces.

Some of these axes of symmetry are drawn on the circle below.

What do you notice about all the axes of symmetry of a circle?

That's right! All the axes of symmetry pass through the centre of the circle.
