The trefoil is chiral. The white and black trefoils shown here
are representing mirror images of each other. You cannot tranform
one of these forms into the other. Thus chiral knots have
handedness. There is a right handed trefoil and a left handed trefoil.
We already saw this in making the square and granny knots.
