thinking.
We are aligned with the Nova Scotia Mathematics Teachers Association.

Family Board Games
The #1 objective of the math classroom in elementary school is not arithmetic, but to get students to think and
problem-solve. Board games are a celebration of problem-solving. That' s why board games and math education
belong together.
Let us put on a family puzzle and board game evening for your school community.

Evening at Dalhousie University
Monthly from September through May we host a puzzle, board game and math-magic evening in the Chase
building at Dalhousie University. Contact us to book a place for your students. Supper is provided so please add
any food allergies.

Time: 6:00 - 8:30 PM
Date: 3rd Wednesday of every month
